The need.

In Knysna, South Africa, many individuals live in extreme poverty, lacking necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter. Broken families and hopelessness are common, leaving people without a path forward. ComeMission exists to address these needs, offering both practical aid and spiritual support to restore hope and rebuild lives.

The organisation.

ComeMission was founded in 2023 by Martin and Tirzah Hofman, who moved with their three children from the Netherlands to South Africa in December 2021. After spending a year working with an existing foundation, the Hofmans established ComeMission to continue spreading God’s love and making a tangible impact on the lives of the people they serve.

ComeMission has significantly impacted the Knysna community by addressing both physical and spiritual needs through a variety of programs. From providing nutrient-rich meals to young children and supporting local soup kitchens to organising educational initiatives for street children, ComeMission empowers individuals with the resources they need for a better future. Their discipleship training and weekly outreaches offer spiritual growth and healing, while practical help, such as rebuilding homes, restores hope and dignity to those living in dire conditions. Through these initiatives, ComeMission continues to transform lives and foster a brighter future for many.
